Judge Brice retired in 2022 from the 12th Judicial Circuit, which includes Chesterfield County and the City of Colonial Heights. She is experienced in all areas of civil litigation, including contracts, complex business disputes, personal injury and medical malpractice, trusts and estates, real estate, and domestic law (including equitable distribution, custody, visitation, and child and spousal support).
Judge Brice’s judicial career spans 21 years, beginning in 2001 as a Judge of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, where she served on the Juvenile Drug Court for many years.
Prior to her service on the bench, Judge Brice appeared daily in the courts of Chesterfield and Colonial Heights as a prosecutor for six years. Judge Brice’s career continued in private practice as an Officer at the law firm of LeClair Ryan (Richmond), where she specialized in complex litigation. While in private practice Judge Brice divided her time between defending physicians, hospitals and healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions and representing clients in all areas of domestic relations litigation.
Judge Brice’s comprehensive experience, both on and off the bench included a multitude of jury trials involving complex forensic, medical and evidentiary issues.
