Current Judicial Appointment:       Circuit Court Judge for the 15th Judicial Circuit (Ret), Commonwealth of Virginia.  Appointment was made in 1999 by the state legislature.  Retired as Resident Judge of the Circuit Court for the County of Spotsylvania on June 30, 2007.


Prior Judicial Appointments:        Chief Circuit Court Judge for the 15th Judicial Circuit,

                                                   July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2006.


                                                   1995-1999 served as a Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Relations District Court Judge for the 15th Judicial District, Commonwealth of Virginia.


                                                   1993-1995 served as Substitute Judge of the General District Court and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of the 15th Judicial District, Commonwealth of Virginia.


Education:                                   Graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond, Virginia in 1975


                                                   Completed the Fall College at the University of Nevada approved by the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges in 1994


                                                   Awarded Diploma of Judicial Skills from the American Academy of Judicial Education in 2001
